Bio: 

Michele (Micky) Metts was raised in Westport, CT and relocated to Boston in 1976. Since 2006, she has built websites using Drupal working independently as a freelance developer/ administrator for individuals and small companies. Her experience includes the creation and development of diverse online communities and large database-driven websites. Michele has also managed teams of programmers to create custom applications for large and small companies and for community use.

Michele's entrepreneurship has started in 1996 with the invention of Cyber Weddings, Friend Finder, and a popular Video website that featured bands, indie comedy shorts and episodic movies. Her websites have been featured on A&E (Arts and Entertainment channel), NTV (Nippon Television Network), Local Boston newspapers and CCTV. Michele is also a pioneer, working with VoipDrupal technology. She has created and presented VoipDrupal webinars in conjuction with the M.I.T. MediaLab.

Little known facts…

Michele has a storied past. She's been a punk rock bassist and guitarist, a welder, a silversmith, a formula racing pit crew member, and used to modify VW Beetles into dune buggies and Baja bugs.

Currently employed at EDC (Educational Development Center) in Waltham, MA.
